If you aren't in the Adobe ecosystem (VSCO plugins require Adobe apps to run, as near as I can tell), DxO Filmpack is an outstanding film emulation package. If you use DxO Optics Pro, the Filmpack adds these film emulation options to your RAW development workflow within Optics Pro. I personally use either Capture One Pro or DxO Optics Pro for RAW processing, and DxO Filmpack is a great addition to this. Also works well as a standalone app for adjusting photos and applying film effects, but doesn't support RAW like DxO Optics Pro, which gains additional features from both the Filmpack and ViewPoint packages.

Compare this to VSCO Film and it's hard to not be disappointed in the DxO option.

I can't suggest Similar apps that aren't listed here so briefly are alternatives I use and love:
For Lightroom, I'm sure everyone knows the VSCO catalog's remarkable library of film effects ranging from Fuji Neopan to Kodachrome. They have everything you'd probably be looking for. In addition the Lightroom community is large enough that Github has dozens of repositories of freely available film emulsion looks for free.
For standalone applications for round-tripping a RAW file via conversion to TIFF you can't beat Nik's Color Efex Pro's several film effects, or their monochrome toolkit Silver Efex Pro. Both are also outstanding.
